It is weighted “short-shift” from the factory. But there is an actual short-shift kit to make it even shorter.

And it’s actually larger than our NA Miata’s, we swapped that one with a Razo baseball shifter. Now THAT is a good feeling shifter.

Whoops - Kinja’d! Meant to post this in response to Canuck’s post!

My interior is decidedly less exciting than your Porsche. 2009 Hyundai Accent hatch, basic transport, but the manual makes it enjoyable. :)

The WRC shift knob was given to me by a close friend and had been on my 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5TS before this. The interior pics are older and are both from before I installed my dashca m below the rearview mirror and before I installed my front fog light kit, so that switch is missing...

So much so, that when I was looking, I would completely ignore the Transmission: entry in the description, and jump right to the interior pictures. And, if the listing had none that showed the shift knob, I would move on.
